Yesterday was a successful first day at camp! All the campers have unpacked and settled nicely into their cabins. We enjoyed getting to meet our morning groups and began some thoughtful conversations around what we would all like to experience at camp this week. With a dinner of spaghetti and meatballs, garlic bread and salad-- our bellies were filled ! The food at Camp Cody never disappoints! We ended our evening under the stars with a production of " Camp the Musical". The program gave our campers a chance to see their counselors use their gifts and talents in joyful and humor filled skits! Such fun.... We closed out the evening with Vespers and the singing of the Lord's prayer around the camp fire. The weather for the day ahead looks cool and comfortable.. We are all looking forward to what the day has in store! Stay tuned!
